Elemental Intros Delta, Aims to Simplify Multiscreen Delivery
Video solutions company 基本技术 has planned a major debut for IBC: Elemental Delta, an ambitious video delivery platform that aims to solve problems with multiscreen delivery, 降低运输成本, and add time-shifting services. Delta integrates with a variety of partners for related services (such as thePlatform for a CMS; EMC Isilon for storage; Microsoft PlayReady, Verimatrix, 内部安全, and Irdeto for DRM; and thePlatform and Adobe Pass [later this year] for authentication) to provide a comprehensive end-to-end delivery system. Delta has been in beta testing for months with telcos, over-the-top (OTT) TV broadcasters, and satellite and mobile operators around the globe.
Time-shifting features available from Elemental Delta include catch-up video-on-demand, start-over functionality for replaying a live broadcast from the beginning, 和云DVR控制.
